Wow, paper timesheets and excel templates, still? Hard to believe but it’s pretty common for councils to be stuck with low tech timesheeting and payroll. That’s why we worked closely with a number of them to design and build a solution specifically to address their challenges.
elementTIME is a council specific Time, Attendance and Award Interpretation platform that integrates directly to existing Council systems, including ERP and EDRMS platforms. Designed and built from the ground up to manage the unique complexities within the council environment.
elementTIME automates most of the leg work at each step of the process and puts the onus on the staff member and their manager to get their timesheets and leave right. For the Payroll team, this means better quality information, fewer issues and never having to manually data enter a timesheet again!
Council People are a varied and interesting lot and the ways that they work and their associated entitlements are just as varied. elementTIME is built for each and every one of them, whether the are an indoor team leader, a casual library work or a member of the outdoor works team.
What does it do?
Payroll
Multiple award interpretations, including penalties, excess time and allowances. Provides for users with multiple roles, pay types and entitlements. Built in payroll processing wizard and in application support to ‘virtually’ assist in anything from training to setting changes.
Online timesheets
Modern, easy to use interface makes it easy for users to complete timesheets, submit leave requests and access information including leave balances from any device.
Leave
Provides staff with real time leave entitlements, balances and simple leave request processes from any device. Approved leave can integrate direct into Outlook and other calendars. Managers can track requests, monitor absences and leave patterns. Thresholds can be set for custom work flows and balances can be forecast for future dates. Managers can stay on top with SMS notifications, balance and request alerts and leave liabilities on any device.
Scheduling
Provides for multiple work types including flexi-time, glide shifts, casuals and fixed time. Responsibilities for managing schedules can shift from department to shift to direct managers or even employees themselves. Shift cover alerts and change notifications can be set as needed.
